A calming bedtime story about courage and self-belief.

The Little Star Who Was Afraid to Shine

High up in the dark, quiet sky lived a tiny star named Luma.

All the other stars sparkled brightly every night, lighting up the sky like a blanket of glitter. But Luma stayed dim.

“Why don’t you shine?” asked a nearby star one evening.

“I’m scared,” Luma whispered. “What if I’m not bright enough? What if no one notices me?”

The other stars twinkled kindly. “Everyone shines in their own way,” they said. But Luma wasn’t convinced.

One night, the moon hid behind thick clouds. The sky became darker than ever before.

Down on Earth, a little boy looked up and said, “I wish there was at least one star tonight.”

Luma heard him.

Her tiny heart began to glow just a little.

“I can try… just a little,” Luma said.

She took a deep breath and let out a soft, gentle shine.

And guess what?

The boy smiled. “Look! A star!” he said happily.

Luma felt warm and happy inside.

Maybe she didn’t need to be the brightest star.

Maybe shining a little was enough.

So, night after night, Luma grew braver. She shined a bit more each time—soft, steady, and beautiful.

And even though she was small, she made a big difference.

🌟 Moral of the Story:
